A fancy Antique Scottish fob pendant from the mid Victorian era (Circa 1870). The piece features a wonderful swivel fob inlaid with a large polished Jasper with speckles of red on one side and a creamy White Agate on the reverse.
Fobs were usually worn as a decorative accessory to go along with a pocket watch but can also be worn as a pendant. The seals on this fob are untouched but usually they featured an engraved signature or perhaps a sentimental message or image that could be stamped with sealing wax on important documents.
It’s a unique design made up of detailed engraved coils delicately crafted in18ct Yellow Gold. It’s in excellent condition and highly collectable.
